I remember a similar workshop d-load/install Steam/OOTP 18 issue recently..this ever been fixed by the OOTP 18 team? Close OOTP Baseball Right-click the game in your Steam Library and select Properties.

I'd really like to not have to unzip and install all 120 ballparks myself into the ballparks/models folder. Then, on the Local Files Tab click on "Verify Integrity of Game Files" I will try this...thanks so much!

UPDATE: I renamed the Enemy Within folder in steamapps\common\XCom-Enemy-Unknown (which worked for this guy) and was able to get the game to start.

In doing this I would assume the EW won't be playable just the base game. Some AV packages can be overly strict and cause game data to get a bit wonky, particularly with steam.I have more than a few items in my (Steam version) OOTP18 workshop, among them the Historical Ballparks (a tremendous job and well worth it for those of us playing historical teams). However, even though my OOTP auto-updated to v .54 through Steam, if I click on "update available...click here to download" for my Hist BP workshop item.,,,nothing.Here's what the connection_says when I use taskset and Steam is able to open fully: [2015-09-04 ] Log session started [2015-09-04 ] [0,0] Set Steam ID( [U:1:0] ) [2015-09-04 ] CCMInterface:: On Network Device State Change -- Saw device up, connecting to Steam [2015-09-04 ] [0,0] Set Steam ID( [U:161074] ) [2015-09-04 ] [0,0] Set Steam ID( [U:161074] ) [2015-09-04 ] [1,2] Connect() starting connection (e Net QOSLevel Low, 2.2020, UDP) [2015-09-04 ] [1,2] Connection Completed() (2.1017, UDP) [2015-09-04 ] [1,2] Recv Msg Client Log On Response() : [U:161074] ' OK'[2015-09-04 ] Startup - updater built Aug 19 2015 [2015-09-04 ] Verifying installation... I've yet to find an answer in either the WINE forums or here. This isn't a new issue, it seems to come and go in spurts.
